Data-sharing policy

Service providers

• Vercel: application hosting and server processing, including CV extraction requests and operational request metadata.
• Supabase: authentication, stored profiles, matches, applications, job-check activity, and saved CV editor drafts including optional resized portraits.
• Email delivery: Supabase's configured mail service handles account and recovery emails. If configured, Resend receives the recipient email, new-match count, and workspace link for opted-in digests.
• Arbeitnow and Remotive: the server fetches public listings. This integration does not send CVs, names, emails, or individual search preferences to those job feeds.
• Bundesagentur fuer Arbeit: manual searches send saved role keywords and selected countries or cities to its public job search service. The server also requests listing descriptions. CV text, names and email addresses are not sent by this integration.
• LinkedIn, Indeed, Google Jobs, StepStone and Xing: a Vercel-hosted app and a separate Python worker send role, country and location queries to public job search endpoints. The worker does not receive your CV, profile text, name or email. Provider access and coverage can vary.
• Google Gemini (optional): only after you confirm the generation consent, the app sends your saved CV/profile text, job details and optional availability/relocation information to Gemini. Contact details present in CV text are included. Google's free-tier terms may permit use of inputs and outputs to improve products and human review, subject to regional terms. Remove sensitive information first and review Gemini API terms. Generated text is stored in your account only when you save the letter.

Your actions

Opening an external job listing connects your browser to that site under its own privacy terms. Downloads and exports create copies on your device. CV preview and PDF/Word exports are generated in the browser; saving CV drafts sends them through Vercel to your Supabase account. Sending a cover letter or application yourself shares it with the recipient you choose; Rolevia does not automatically apply for jobs.

What the app does not implement

There are no public CV profiles, user-to-user record sharing, advertising data sales, or automatic applications. AI drafting is optional; manual editing and document exports do not call an AI model. These statements describe this implementation, not every independent practice of an infrastructure provider.

Access and disclosure

Operators and providers may have administrative access. Any disclosure for legal obligations or incident handling must be assessed by the operator under applicable law; this page does not grant blanket permission to share your data. Optional email settings do not authorize unrelated uses.
